It is completely normal to feel nervous about coming to your first counseling session. The first session provides space for you to share why you’re coming to counseling, and what you hope to gain from this experience. Greenhouse understands this may be uncomfortable to share, and we do our best to help you feel heard and understood.

The initial session lasts 60 minutes. Future sessions are typically 45-50 minutes. Sessions can be customized depending on the client's needs.

I am currently in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield.
For those who choose to private pay, I can provide a superbill (a receipt) that you may file with your insurance company to be reimbursed according to your coverage.

Initial sessions are $150, and all other individual 50-minute sessions are $135.

The Good Faith Estimate is a provision of the No Surprises Act that took effect on January, 1, 2022. Healthcare providers are federally mandated to give clients an estimate of anticipated healthcare services. The Good Faith Estimate is not a legally binding contract, but will provide clients a reasonable expectation of the cost of therapy. Some clients prefer to meet outside for therapy instead of in the office. Contact Emily Grace if you are interested in learning more about walk and talk sessions.

Virtual sessions are a great option for some clients! Please indicate your interest in virtual sessions when you request an appointment.

Complete our brief questionnaire stating why you’re coming to counseling and what your preferred meeting time is. Greenhouse will contact you within 48 hours (during normal business hours) to schedule a session.
